After Chandramukhi, we’ll get to see Prabhu and Superstar Rajinikanth again in Kuselan. Prabhu has been roped in to play the character by Mukesh in the original Malayalam version. However, director P. Vasu has modified the script to characterize Prabhu as a police inspector who provides security for the superstar instead of tutorial college professor as portrayed by Mukesh in the original.
Sources add that Prabhu accepted to do the role on the personal invitation of Rajini. The shooting for the first schedule of the film is now being shot in Hyderabad and will come to a close on April 4. After that the rest of the village scenes will be shot in Pollachi. The movie will be a more commercialized version and will have duet songs for Rajinikanth with Nayantara and also fight sequences to suit the flavor of the Tamil and Telugu Audience.

Sameera Reddy pairs up with Ajith next!!!

Sameera Reddy who is making her Kollywood debut opposite Surya in Vaaranam Aayiram will be next seen in another Tamil movie with Ajith Kumar. Ajith is currently acting in Aegan under the production of Raju Sundaram with Nayantara.

Ajith will be doing the next movie with Shivaji Productions in their forthcoming untitled film to be directed by Gautham Menon. Veteran Actor Raghuvaran passes away

Actor Raghuvaran passed away in chennai this morning due to cardiac arrest. He was admitted in the intensive medical care unit of Mehta hospital for the past few weeks. He was 59 years old and has acted in several Tamil, Malyalam, Telgu and Hindi movies. He became famous with his role as the protagonist of a Tamil soap opera, “Oru Manidhanin Kadhai” (One Man’s Story), about a well-to-do man who becomes an alcoholic and faces the consequent difficulties. Unfortunately, in real life too, he is known for his controversial drug addiction. His family split on this regard, and he has also undergone deaddiction courses. His wife Rohini split from him due to this. The couple have a son who is 8 years old.Raghuvaran was born on December 11th 1948. He debuted in the award winning film, Ezhavathu Manithan (1982) and is the most loved villan of Tamil Cinema. Silla Nerangalil which released on Feb 29th 2008 became his last released movie. He had bagged many awards, including the Tamil Nadu government’s ‘Kalaimamani’ award and best character artiste award.His funeral will be held this evening, family sources said.
